The New York County Lawyers Association is a nonprofit organization that provides legal services to low-income New Yorkers. The LCAA also operates the Legal Aid Society of New York, which is one of the largest legal aid organizations in the country. The LCAA offers free or reduced-price legal services to those who meet income eligibility requirements.
The LCAA has offices in all five boroughs of New York City and in Yonkers, Mount Vernon, and White Plains in Westchester County. In addition, the LCAA has satellite offices in eight counties throughout upstate New York: Albany, Chemung, Cortland, Tompkins, Cayuga, Erie, Genesee, Monroe and Niagara. The LCAA also provides services through its pro bono program. This program provides legal assistance to individuals and nonprofit organizations whose cases fall within the LCAA’s focus areas.

In addition to providing invaluable legal services to residents of New York County, the New York County Lawyers Association (NYCLA) also actively promotes justice and the rule of law. One important way the NYCLA does this is by donating money to worthy causes. Here is a list of some recent donations from the NYCLA:

– $1,500 to The Bronx Defenders

The New York County Lawyers Association (NYCLA) will hold its Annual Meeting on February 10, 2019, at the Sheraton New York Hotel and Towers. The agenda and other information can be found on the NYCLA website.
The NYCLA is a voluntary bar association of more than 7,000 lawyers who are responsible for the administration of justice in one of the most populous counties in the country. The Association provides leadership and advocacy to promote access to justice, contributes to public understanding of the legal system, and advances the quality of legal services.
